Me either. I am also not backing up my blogs. And I certainly need to make it a habit.

Backing up my information is something that I learned the hard way... Many years ago I was working on a list of records with the artist for a friend of mine. The list was a 52 page document and I only had one copy of the document.

The computer malfunctioned (or I did something wrong) and I lost the entire document. OUCH! That hurt! I only lost about 10 hours of work.

So ever since then, I try to back up!

I just went through the same thing in reverse, I started a restore instead of a backup and lost a couple of posts and some comments! luckily, I was able to get some contest entries back... phew! now I leave the back up to happen automatically every night

A good post :)

Backing up is the thing i am laziest at, although i know its very hard to recover if we dont have back ups.

This is a helpful post. Backing up is so essential. We think that information can't disappear, but it can. I have always backed up my stuff on a hard disk. It just feels safer that way.

Flimjo's last blog post..Win $6,000+ in Prizes From Winning The Web
