Google

We all love Google.

Well most of us do anyway, and here’s another reason to hug Google. They are offering you a selection of downloads completely free in their Google Pack. Google guarantee that their Google Pack is:

  • Software specifically selected by Google
  • Always free - no trial versions or spyware
  • Ready to use in just a few clicks

This is pretty good.

You have a choice from the following software to download:

  • Google Earth - The world at your fingertips all on your computer.
  • Google Toolbar - Popup blocking, autofill forms, spellchecker and more.
  • Norton Security Scan - Protection on your PC from Norton!
  • Spyware Doctor Starter Edition - Remove and protect yourself from spyware, adware, trojans and keyloggers.
  • Google Desktop - Personalize your desktop with Google, including display information like email, files, web history and more.
  • Picasa - Picture editing and sharing made easy.
  • Mozilla Firefox with Google Toolbar - FireFox is the best browser on the web in my opinion. FireFox includes tabbed browsing and many other features!
  • Google Photos Screensaver - Create cinematic slideshows using your own photos for your computer’s screensaver.
  • Adobe Reader - Secure your documents and read PDF files in Adobe Reader.
  • Google Talk - Communicate with other Google Talk users.
  • Skype - Make free phone and video calls to anyone using Skype and if you wish to call landlines, then the price is very low.
  • RealPlayer - Play popular media formats in this player and organise your music and videos, complete with transfer to your media player.
  • StarOffice - Word processing, spreadsheet, presentation if you don’t have access to Microsoft products.

The software that is provided is extremely useful to anyone, especially the security software and office alternative.

Google does not force you to download them all.
