World

This is something I’ve never really thought about but Scott Wainner wrote this post which got me thinking. I’ve never read the sentence,

“…the idea of biologically living as a 20-something indefinitely without experiencing age related disease or decay”.

Longevity was something completely new that I was happy to learn about and as a 17 year old give my opinion and raise awareness is the smallest thing I could do. I’ve learnt that testing, debates and opinions are all things to have in building something for the future.

That is definitely something that would not pop straight into your head. I’m no scientist but I recognise the benefits of this and the fact that anyone who is opposed to it, in someway will support it. We would all love to live longer than our bodies will let us and I believe and have learnt from school that in the future there will be a generation that lives several times our current lifespan.

After looking at the extensive articles listed in the post, the end of aging is a subject that is passionate to a lot of people. I am no expert in any field but by the information that is provided I’m happy to give my 100% support to watch the research unfold. The evidence that is given in the post which talks about the way we think, like avoiding death until it’s upon us is very true. The diseases that develop when we grow older might be able to be stopped if we stop cells growing at 20. I do not like to have a strong view on something I can not contribute to but with the pain and suffering that the world experiences, Longevity can be something that stops this and this is a very strong reason to support.

The way in which science is growing in the world, work has been done and people are needed to gain the skills to work in that field and see what they come up with.

I’d love to know what you think of the idea of Longevity?
